Their Steel Curtain shredded, Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh
offense ended a Super Bowl of incredible swings with a final-minute
touchdown for a historic victory. Santonio Holmes made a brilliant
6-yard catch deep in the right corner of the end zone with 35 seconds
remaining Sunday night, lifting the Steelers to a record-setting
sixth Super Bowl win, 27-23 over the Arizona Cardinals.

Pittsburgh Steelers Fans Swarm Tampa Without Tickets
On a quiet street in a north Tampa neighborhood dotted with palm trees,
where every now and then an alligator wanders from the lake into someone’s
back yard, there’s a banner hanging on Chris and Beckie Veronesi’s
house that says, “You’re in Steelers Country.”
And they don’t mean just this week, when the Pittsburgh Steelers
are in town to play the Arizona Cardinals in the Super Bowl. The
Tampa Bay area is loaded with western Pennsylvania transplants, and
that means it’s loaded with Iron City beer, pierogi and Steelers

Faith Mixes With Football for the Super
Bowl

Arizona running back Tim Hightower had just finished a thoughtful
explanation of his religious beliefs when one of the media types
who found their way into the Super Bowl stadium Tuesday decided he
needed more proof."Can you pray right now?” he asked. “I
can pray that whatever is going on in your life right now that you
find God,” Hightower said. Hightower handled the question with
the same ease he handled would-be tacklers to score the winning touchdown
that got his team into the
Super Bowl, which by itself was somewhat surprising since he is a

Storied Steelers Thirsting for Six Pack
of Super Bowls
After the Pittsburgh Steelers won their fourth Super
Bowl title in January 1980, the quest for another championship ring
quickly was themed “One for the Thumb in ‘81.” That
fifth Super Bowl title eventually came three years ago. What if Pittsburgh
gets a record sixth?
"I’ve heard they’ll call it a ‘Six-pack’ or ‘Six-burgh,’ ” defensive
end Brett Keisel said after the Steelers arrived Monday for Super
